  • Program emphasis:
    • Stretching
    • Discipline
    • Proper football techniques: (ALL OF THESE
      DRILLS WILL NOT HAPPEN EACH WEEK)
      • Running form (with and without football)
      • Blocking
      • Pass patterns
      • Back peddling
      • Change of direction (DB’s)
      • Pass catching
      • Throwing mechanics
  • Speed training:
    • 40 yard dash
    • Shuttle run
    • 3 Cone drill
    • “W” drill
    • Ladder training
    • Depending on the participation, split the 4 and 5 year olds into age groups and have each age group go for 30 minutes.
    • Timeline for each week:
      • 5 minutes for warm-ups and stretching the body parts being worked that day
      • 10 minutes on running form, pass patterns, back peddling, change of direction, 3 cone drill
      • 5 minute water break
      • 10 minutes on blocking, throwing mechanics, ladder training, 40 yard dash, “W” drill, shuttle run
      • The time slots TBD (will follow the Flag Football league schedule).
      •  Each participant will receive a Don Beebe's House of Speed t-shirt
